Sunday 20th September
7 pm Face Off – Bantams
Our bantams go in to this semi with an impressive 19-4-1 record having only lost to the Flyers this year. While the Sydney Bears will be no push over season form says the Saints should win this game and secure themselves a grand final spot. Look for some goals here with the Saints, fielding three of the top six scorers in the league, including Chris Shephard who leads the league in Goals, Assists, Points and PIM!
8:15 pm Face Off – Titans
Stay and watch our Senior Division 1 team attempt to become the first Senior team to reach a grand final by beating their arch rivals, and semi final conquers of two years ago the Canterbury Eagles. The head-to-head record between these two teams this season is tight with two victories to the Eagles and one to the Titans with two draws, over five games only one goal separates these teams. This though hides the true story, if the Titans perform to the best of there ability there is no team to match them in Division 1, backstopped by Senior Hockey’ best goaltender.
9:30 pm Face Off - Cardinals
Division 3 was created as a development league for those new to the sport to learn there skills. Led by veteran coaching the Cardinals have done just that, and done it well. Loosing only one game and tying only one, the Cardinals go in to the game as hot favourites. Though loosing league leading goalie Billy Poon changes the whole complex of the finals for the Cardinals and throws the whole Division 3 race wide open!
